The GREENER group «Storage, harvesting and energy conversion energy” associates competence in innovative synthesis routes and precise characterization to hierarchical innovative energy materials with tailored architecture and properties.Progress towards developing sustainable energy solutions is becoming increasingly critical as concerns grow around the extent of carbon emissions released by burning fossil fuels. The use of these fuels has led to an increase in greenhouse-gases, including carbon dioxide, which is contributing to human-induced climate change. In the hunt for more efficient and sustainable energy solutions in future, in our group we are looking for novel materials for more efficient energy conversion, harvesting and storage devices, including fuel cells, batteries, supercapacitors and solar cells.
