We are looking for applicants for motivated postdoc candidates to apply for funding at the European (Marie Curie) or national level to join our group at ICMM-CSIC.
OPEN CALLS
Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships
The 2023 Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship is now open.
If you are interested in applying for this fellowship to join us to work in the modeling and simulations of strongly correlated electron systems, including twisted bilayer graphene and other moiré materials, contact Leni Bascones leni.bascones@csic.es and Maria José Calderón mj.calderon@csic.es including your CV and motivation.
To work on nanoscale devices for quantum science and technologies contact Ramón Aguado ramon.aguado@csic.es and Rubén Seoane ruben.seoane@csic.es
JAE-Intro ICU
ICMM offers studentships to candidates doing their MSc studies in physics or engineering through the JAE intro program (https://sede.csic.gob.es/icu2023). The fellowship covers up to three months to do a master thesis in the group of Theory of Quantum Materials and Solid State Quantum Technologies. Topics are related to:
- Theory of quantum materials (focus on correlations in moiré materials and graphene multilayers) – Supervisor: Leni Bascones (leni.bascones@csic.es)
- Scaling semiconductor-based quantum computation – Supervisor: José Carlos García-Abadillo Uriel (jcgau@icmm.csic.es).
- Superconducting states for quantum technologies – Supervisor: Rubén Seoane Souto (ruben.seoane@csic.es)
