The ICMM is located in Cantoblanco campus, the  main campus of  Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, in the north of Madrid, outside of the city. The campus can be reached from Madrid by  Train (Cercanías)  departing from Chamartin Station or by Bus departing from Plaza de Castilla.  Chamartin and Plaza de Castilla are 10 minutes far from each other (walking distance).  Madrid is fully connected by public transport (metro, bus and trains) allowing to reach these stations from any other place in the city.

The campus can be also reached from the smaller and closer towns Alcobendas-San Sebastian de los Reyes by bus.

Cantoblanco Station is connected to the city by train C-4 Cercanías line starting from Chamartín (trains each 10-12 min) and heading towards S.S. Reyes-Alcobendas or Colmenar Viejo.  Approximate train time between Chamartín and Cantoblanco is  10-15 min.  The ICMM is about 10-15 min walking distance from Cantoblanco-Universidad Station. Due to current renovation of the Chamartin station the C-4 line does not continue to other stations in the city (Nuevos Ministerios, Sol and Atocha among others). For these or other stations in the city it is necessary to change train in Chamartin. More information about the C-4 line and frequency of the trains can be found here.

The most convenient bus to reach the campus is 714 from Plaza de Castilla in the north of the city, see Schedule here. Bus time from Plaza de Castilla to Cantoblanco is about 25-30 min. The bus stop is about 5 min walking distance from ICMM.

From Alcobendas there is direct bus connection through lines 827 , 827A and 828. Check schedule and stop location if your accomodation is in these town.
