Hi,<\/span><\/p>\n

I am from Oviedo, in the north of Spain, where got a degree in Chemistry at the Universidad de Oviedo. After one year as Erasmus student in Germany, where I worked with ceramics and polymers, I came to Madrid, where I am now finishing my PhD, at the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid, working with Dr. Javier M\u00e9ndez. <\/span><\/p>\n

The main aim of my Thesis is about STM and metal-organic nanostructures of PTCDA molecules and iron atoms on a gold (111) substrate, but I have also worked in XPS, AFM, contact angle measurements, mechanical stimulated chemical desoption, <\/span>and other techniques.<\/span>\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

Next year I would like to do a postdoctoral work anywhere in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Llevan a la pr\u00e1ctica el consejo que dio hace un a\u00f1o el N\u00f3bel de Econom\u00eda Paul Krugman: \u00abEspa\u00f1a tiene un 18% de desempleo y necesita que los trabajadores se trasladen a otras partes de Europa\u00bb. A universidades de Reino Unido, Alemania o los pa\u00edses n\u00f3rdicos han llegado muchos investigadores espa\u00f1oles en lo que responde a un fen\u00f3meno de fuga de cerebros: profesionales formados por un sistema que luego es incapaz de absorberlos en su etapa m\u00e1s productiva<\/span>. Considerando estos perfiles cualificados y otros m\u00e1s modestos, se calcula que unos 120.000 espa\u00f1oles han abandonado el pa\u00eds en los \u00faltimos dos a\u00f1os en busca de un mejor horizonte laboral.<\/span><\/p>\n
