This approach enables precise control over the structural evolution of the nanoparticle films, promoting their recrystallization into highly crystalline CuO nanocubes with a porous architecture.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe resulting CuO nanostructured photocathodes exihibit photocurrent densities and an applied bias photon-to-current efficiencies that demonstrate excellent photoelectrochemical performance.
