Not simple (moir\u00e9 bilayer filled with two charge particles per unit cell !!)<br \/>\nbut a nice work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Experimental signature of parity anomaly in semi-magnetic topological insulator, \u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/pdf\/2105.04127.pdf\">\u00a0https:\/\/arxiv.org\/pdf\/2105.04127.pdf<\/a>. Measure of the 1\/2 coefficient of the Hall conductivity \u00a0for a single massive Dirac fermion in 2D. Cool! A good year for the strain fans.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Room temperature strain-induced quantum Hall effect in graphene on a wafer-scale platform, <a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/pdf\/1902.00514.pdf\">https:\/\/arxiv.org\/pdf\/1902.00514.pdf<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>Landau levels from strain seen with ARPES in graphene.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Structural dimerization, electron correlations, and topological gap opening in isotropically strained graphene,\u00a0<a title=\"Abstract\" href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/1804.04479\">arXiv:1804.04479<\/a>. <\/strong>The ground state of isotropically strained graphene is a topological insulator.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Axial anomaly in multi-Weyl and triple-point semimetals,\u00a0\u00a0 <span class=\"list-identifier\"><a title=\"Abstract\" href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/1803.01684\">arXiv:1803.01684.\u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/strong>A very useful synthesis. Rigorous and intuitive.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<b>Experimental Observation of Acoustic Weyl Points and Topological Surface States ,\u00a0\u00a0 <span class=\"list-identifier\"><a title=\"Abstract\" href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/1803.00828\">arXiv:1803.00828<\/a><\/span><\/b><span class=\"list-identifier\">\u00a0.\u00a0This article enlarges \u00a0the family of Weyl matter of non fermionic origin.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>In-situ strain tuning of the Dirac surface states in Bi2Se3 films,\u00a0<span class=\"list-identifier\"><a title=\"Abstract\" href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/1807.00369\">arXiv:1807.00369<\/a>. <\/span><\/strong><span class=\"list-identifier\">Strain engineering in a 3D material.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Observation of the nonlinear Hall effect under time reversal symmetric conditions,\u00a0<a title=\"Abstract\" href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/1809.09279\">arXiv:1809.09279<\/a>.<\/strong>\u00a0A very interesting experiment on bilayer WTe2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a personal choice of recent arXiv papers that I find particularly appealing. 2022 Realization of the Haldane Chern insulator in a moir\u00e9 lattice, https:\/\/arxiv.org\/pdf\/2207.02312.pdf.
