This work reviews a number of synthesis methods, including solid state reaction and Pechini routes, for the processing of ceramics based on of BaTiO<sub>3<\/sub>, Ba<sub>1-x<\/sub>Ca<sub>x<\/sub>Ti<sub>1-y<\/sub>Zr<sub>y<\/sub>O<sub>3<\/sub> and (Bi<sub>0.5<\/sub>Na<sub>0.5<\/sub>)TiO<sub>3<\/sub>.<br \/>\nA poster on the cooperation with Prof. E. Mor\u00e1n of the Dpt. of Inorganic Chemistry of the School of Chemistry (Complutense University of Madrid) is also presented on &#8220;<strong>Microwave assisted hydrothermal synthesis of Ba<sub>1-x<\/sub>Ca<sub>x<\/sub>TiO<sub>3<\/sub><\/strong>&#8220;, authors: P. Salcedo, E.Mor\u00e1n, M.E. Villafuerte-Castrej\u00f3n, R. Vivar-Ocampo and L.
