advance lithium-ion battery technology by integrating artificial intelligence (AI), advanced characterization, and regeneration strategies. It focuses on three main objectives: (1) discovering innovative materials for all battery components using AI, (2) understanding degradation mechanisms through detailed analysis of aged and failed batteries\u2014particularly at electrode\u2013electrolyte interfaces\u2014and (3) developing industrially viable processes, such as plasma and chemical treatments, to regenerate and reuse battery components.
