at the Materials Science Institute of Madrid (ICMM).<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are experts in fabrication of tailored <\/strong>nanoparticles by gas phase synthesis<\/b>. Our research is quite transversal as the nanoparticles fabricated can be applied to many different fields. During more than 15 years we have developed new technologies for the stable fabrication of tailored nanoparticles. We are currently focused in the application of these technologies in fields like catalysis, nanomedicine, energy, smart surfaces, etc.<\/p>\n

\u2013       Our research activities<\/b> are mainly focused on the fabrication and characterization of low dimensional systems in the nanometer scale.<\/p>\n

\u2013       Our philosophy<\/b> is to perform fundamental research to understand the influence of the decrease in the dimensionality on the properties of the materials<\/p>\n

\u2013       Our final goal<\/b> is to apply this knowledge to new and advanced functional materials<\/p>\n
