We are interested on the interplay between the micro- and nanostructure and the properties of materials. We have a large experience on various advanced <a href=\"http:\/\/www.icmm.csic.es\/Nanocarma\/?page_id=35\">techniques<\/a> for the characterization of materials at the microscopic scale, such as transmission electron microscopy (TEM, HRTEM) and associated spectroscopies (X-EDS, EELS, &#8230;), optical spectroscopies, Raman microspectroscopy, and neutron diffraction. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>The name of our group comes from &#8216;<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">nanocar<\/span><\/strong>acterizaci\u00f3n de <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">ma<\/span><\/strong>teriales,&#8217; which means nanocharacterization of materials in Spanish.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<div><!-- Google Translate --><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--:--><!--:es--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Somos un grupo de investigaci\u00f3n dedicado a la nanocaracterizaci\u00f3n de materiales dentro del Departmento de Energ\u00eda, Medio Ambiente y Tecnolog\u00edas Sostenibles del <a href=\"..\/..\/\">Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid (ICMM-CSIC)<\/a>. Estamos interesados en la relaci\u00f3n entre la micro- y la nanoestructura y las propiedades de los materials.
