Fernando Agull\u00f3-Rueda graduated in Physics from the Autonomous University of Madrid<\/a> in 1982. In 1986 he obtained his Ph. D. in Physics from the same university. He spent several years at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center<\/a> (USA), University of Hamburg<\/a> and Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Research<\/a> (Germany). He joined the Materials Science Institute of Madrid in 1988 and became a Senior Research Scientist in 2006. He established the Raman Microscopy Laboratory<\/a> in 1995. He has published more than 129 papers in peered reviewed journals and has coauthored several monographies and book chapters on materials science.<\/p>\n

Fernando Agull\u00f3-Rueda se gradu\u00f3 en Ciencias F\u00edsicas por la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid<\/a> en 1982. En 1986 obtuvo el t\u00edtulo de Doctor en Ciencias F\u00edsicas por la misma universidad. Estuvo varios a\u00f1os en el Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n de IBM T. J. Watson<\/a> (EE.UU.), la Universidad de Hamburgo<\/a> y el Instituto Max-Planck de Investigaci\u00f3n en Estado S\u00f3lido<\/a> (Alemania). Entr\u00f3 en el Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid en 1988 como Colaborador Cient\u00edfico y obtuvo la plaza de Investigador Cient\u00edfico en 2006. Cre\u00f3 el Laboratorio de Microscop\u00eda Raman<\/a> en 1995. Ha publicado m\u00e1s de 129 art\u00edculos en revistas cient\u00edficas con arbitraje y es coautor de varias monograf\u00edas y cap\u00edtulos de libros en ciencia de materiales.<\/p>\n
