{"id":111,"date":"2018-01-24T08:34:41","date_gmt":"2018-01-24T08:34:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.icmm.csic.es\/realm\/?page_id=111"},"modified":"2018-01-24T08:34:41","modified_gmt":"2018-01-24T08:34:41","slug":"synthesis-techniques","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wp.icmm.csic.es\/realm\/synthesis-techniques\/","title":{"rendered":"Synthesis techniques"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We prepare <strong>crystalline nanosized particles by a) hydro\/solvothermal, b) coprecipitation from high boiling point solvents, and\u00a0c) sol-gel and routes.<\/strong> Equipment available at this laboratory includes:<\/p>\n<p>-Vacuum Schlenk lines.<\/p>\n<p>-Magnetic stirred hot plates with control of temperature and pH (IKA Ret, IKA C-MAG HS7, with ETS-D5 thermometers).<\/p>\n<p>-Vortex mixers.<\/p>\n<p>-50 ml Teflon-lined pressure reactors.<\/p>\n<p>-Ultrasonic baths.<\/p>\n<p>-Ultrasonicator device for liquid processing, up 200 W 24 kHZ, with different sonotrodes (Hielscher).<\/p>\n<p>-Horizontal laminar flow clean cabinet (Aeolus Telstar).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Ovens with forced air circulation, up to 300 \u00baC (Memmert UFE500).<\/p>\n<p>-Centrifuge max 18.000 rpm (Hettich Eba 21).<\/p>\n<p>-Precision thickness film maker system with heated platens and uniaxial press;<\/p>\n<p>-Dynamic Light Scattering equipment (Vasco 2, Cordouan Technologies, with NanoQ software) for particle size measurement.<\/p>\n<p>-Spin-coater with drying system and laminar flow clean bench.
