These are non-abelian excitations inherently protected against local sources of decoherence, and thus, have potential interest for quantum computation purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Throughout my Phd I will be studying the properties and mechanisms responsible for topological superconducting phases in graphene-based heterostructures.
