In the past I also worked on the bulk properties of colossal magnetoresistance materials, oxide heterostructures,\u00a0 Fe based superconductors and diluted magnetic semiconductors. Find a list of my publications here<\/a>.<\/p>\n I work at ICMM-<\/span>CSIC since 2007, got tenure on March 2011 and promoted to Senior Scientist in 2023. Previously I spent 3+ years at the <\/span>Theory \u00a0of Condensed Matter group<\/a> in the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge, as a postdoctoral Junior Research Fellow of <\/span>Churchill College<\/a>, and two years as a research associate at the\u00a0<\/span>Condensed Matter Theory Center<\/a>, University of Maryland.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n I am the director of the Master’s Degree in Quantum Technologies<\/a> created by the Quantum Technologies CSIC platform<\/a> in collaboration with Universidad Internacional Men\u00e9ndez Pelayo and other 9 leading institutions in Spain.<\/p>\n I have been in the management team of “Physics and its applications” at the Agencia Estatal de Investigaci\u00f3n (the Spanish funding agency) in the period July 2018 – November 2021.<\/p>\n I was vice-president (Jan 2014-Jan 2016) and president (Jan 2016-Oct 2020) of the Condensed Matter Physics Division-GEFES<\/a> of the Spanish Royal Physics Society.
