Afterwards, I was working there for a year at the\u00a0Quantum Mechanics Department. Next, I got the scholarship &#8220;Mobility\u00a0Plus II&#8221; founded by The Ministry of Science and Higher Education in\u00a0Poland for the project &#8220;Electrical properties of two-dimensional\u00a0materials with hexagonal structure: graphene and boron nitride&#8221; which\u00a0I realize at ICMM.<\/p>\n<p>The subject of my research is the theoretical study of electronic and\u00a0magnetic properties of graphene based systems: carbon nanotubes,\u00a0graphene nanoribbons, bilayer graphene ribbons, boron nitride as well\u00a0as their junctions systems including quantum dots and superlattices.\u00a0The properties I focus on in my work are mostly the band structure,\u00a0quantum states localization and transport properties.<\/p>\n<p>Early 2015 I moved to the <a href=\"http:\/\/cfm.ehu.es\/index.php\/home\" target=\"_blank\">Materials Physics Center,<\/a> <span class=\"s1\">a joint center between the Spanish Scientific Research Council\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">(CSIC) and the University of the Basque Country (UPV\/EHU).<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I finished my PhD at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toru\u0144\u00a0(Poland) in 2012.
