Synthesis and investigation of novel advanced nanomaterials based on gas-aggregated nanoparticles, such as nanofluids with neuromorphic potential.

Title of the talk: Advancing Resistive Switching with Nanofluid Engineering: Opportunities and Challenges

Short CV: Daniil Nikitin obtained his Ph.D. in 2019 from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. After completing his Ph.D., he spent a year in the R&D department of HVM Plasma Ltd. (Prague), where he focused on optimizing gas aggregation cluster source technology. In 2021, he joined the Department of Macromolecular Physics at Charles University as a postdoctoral researcher. In 2022, his research on resistive switching in nanofluidic systems received support from the Czech Science Foundation. He now leads this research direction within the department. His research interests also include the synthesis of advanced nanomaterials, such as nanoparticles, thin films, and nanocomposites, as well as plasma polymerization and the plasma modification of natural polymers. He has authored or co-authored more than 45 papers in high-impact journals, including Advanced Functional Materials, Advanced Optical Materials, Nanoscale, and ACS Applied Nano Materials, with an h-index of 15.
