HOW TO GET TO LA RÁBIDA (HUELVA)

Seville is the main transportation hub closest to La Rábida (Huelva). To facilitate your arrival at the conference venue, we will organize a shuttle service from Seville-San Pablo Airport (SVQ) and the Santa Justa train station. The bus to the conference venue on September 7th will depart at 5:00 PM from the airport and at 5:20 PM from the train station. The return bus will return to the airport around 2:30 PM and then to the train station around 2:50 PM. Below are some options for your trip:

1) This link provides information about direct connections to Seville Airport and the company that operates them.

2)Another option is to arrive at Madrid-Adolfo Suárez Airport and travel to Seville by train (a 2.5-hour journey).

3) Alternatively, you can fly to Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport and take a train from Malaga María Zambrano Train Station to Seville (also a 2.5-hour journey).

4) If you arrive in Seville and your schedule doesn’t fit the shuttle provided by the Nanoworkshop 2025 organizers, you have several options:

1. Taxi Arrangements: To/from Train Station – €130 – To/from Santa Justa Airport – €135. If needed, please request this service by emailing jotacb@hotmail.es. You can book the taxi up to September 1st, but it would be preferable to do so in advance.

2. Take a bus from the Plaza de Armas Bus Station in Seville to the city of Huelva (you can check the schedule here) or a train from Santa Justa Station in Seville to Huelva Train Station (you can check the schedule here). In both cases, you will need to take a taxi from the station to the conference venue.

IMPORTANT GENERAL INFORMATION
We want you to fully enjoy your experience at Nanoworkshop 2025. For this reason, we recommend:

Light clothing. In September, temperatures in Andalusia can be very high during the day. Although, all conference venues are well air-conditioned, for outdoors this type of clothing is highly recommended.
Sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and comfortable shoes. The visit to Doñana Natural Park will take place in an air-conditioned 4×4 vehicle, but bringing these three items will help you make the most of the excursion.
