Research Assistant for Optomechanical Diagnostic System

Description:
We are looking for a motivated researcher with a background in physics, telecommunications engineering, electrical engineering, or biomedical engineering to join a multidisciplinary team developing an innovative diagnostic system for infectious diseases. The project involves the design and characterization of a novel optomechanical platform for in vitro diagnostics (IVD).
Responsibilities:
- Design and development of an optomechanical detection system.
- Experimental characterization and validation using biological samples.
- Integration of optical and mechanical components into a microfluidic platform.
- Data analysis and collaboration with teams specialized in microfluidics and AI-based signal processing.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physics, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Solid knowledge of optics and/or detection systems.
- Hands-on experience with experimental setups and signal acquisition.
- Teamwork skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Proficiency in technical English.
Desirable:
- Experience in medical diagnostics or IVD devices.
- Knowledge of sensors, actuators, and precision mechanics.
- Familiarity with laboratory practices.
