Paula García Balaguer

Paula García Balaguer graduated in Chemistry from the University of Basque Country in 2021, and obtained a Master’s degree in Electrochemistry, Science and Technology a year after from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Here, she worked in the Applied Physical Chemistry Department and her Master’s thesis consisted in the development of manganese dioxide based catalysts for stank and flow aluminium-air batteries. Later, she worked as an intern in the R+D Department in Exide Technologies, studying different additives for the lead-acid battery. Since 2023, Paula is a predoctoral researcher in the Bioinspired Materials group, and her research is focused on the development of iron based redox flow batteries with coordinated electrolytes.
