Vicente Arjona Romano

I am a PhD student under the supervision of Dra. María A. H. Vozmediano at Instituto de Ciencias de Materiales de Madrid (ICMM). I finished my degree in Physics at University of the Balearic Islands, where I also obtained my Master degree in Physics of Complex Systems at Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems (IFISC).

During these years I was studying the electronic and transport features of mesoscopic systems such as graphene, with particular attention on the energy correlation and noise properties.

Research

I am currently working on theoretical models describing Dirac and Weyl semimetals, primarily on how elastic deformations affect their attributes.
