COLLABORATIONS

Open, collaborative working practices are the best way forward to drive innovation in materials with economic and societal impact. Novel emerging materials are reshaping user expectations and businesses solutions. Shortly, advanced energy materials will evolve beyond the current state of the art. This context presents a golden opportunity for research to discover new materials. However, scientific research must be mindful to place society’s needs at the centre of innovation, adopting collaborative ‘open’ working practices.

GREENER team is indeed honoured to have established robust and fruitful collaborations with internationally prestigious academic institutions and enterprises (small, medium, and grand) during the time. We are currently working with many universities, research centres, and industrial players worldwide, having carried out more than 100 successful research projects. Below are some of these collaborators who have benefited together with us from applying an ‘open collaboration’ methodology. Most of the results are already available in peer-reviewed scientific publications listed in the “Publications” section of the GREENER  WEBSITE.

GREENER group  is proud to collaborate with like-minded, solutions oriented partners to better serve the basic and applied research in energy materials

JOINT LABORATORIES

GREENER group also participates closely in a series of agreements for the creation of joint laboratories or CSIC RESEARCH UNITS with other scholar institutions, in which researchers from the GREENER and foreign researchers share, in addition to their skills, their own research structures displaying new characteristics compared to the two proposing institutes.

In this context, Prof. Maria C. Asensio is leading the CSIC ASSOCIATED RESEARCH UNIT named “MATINÉE: SMART MATERIALS FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY,” as a joined initiative between Materials Sciences Institute of the Valencia University (ICMUV) and the GREENER group at the Materials Science Institute of Madrid (ICMM).
