Scientific development of former members of the Alonso's Lab
A good indication of the quality of the received formation during the predoctoral period is that most of our students are now working in the Scientific Research field: Sebastián Larrégola is full professor at the Univ. Nac. de San Luis, Argentina; A. Aguadero was Lecturer and Reader at the Imperial College of London; J. Sánchez-Benítez, V. Cascos and P. Kayser are professors at the UCM; Dr. Rubén Martínez held a postdoctoral contract at U-Texas in Austin, Dr. F. Serrano was awarded with a Marie Curie fellowship and he develops his postdoctoral period at Max Plank Institute-Dresden; S. Mayer has a research contract at ICMM. Former students of the group now working in the Academia are Dr. P. Velasco, who has a permanent position at the Center for Neural Science of the New York University and Dr. Amboage, who belongs to the permanent staff of the Synchrotron Diamond (UK).
