Resume

Cristina, born in Madrid (Spain, 1988), BSc in Physics (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, 2012), MSc in Fuels and Energies for the Future (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain, 2014) obtained the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science at Sheffield Hallam University (Sheffield, United Kingdom, 2017). Back in Spain, Cristina worked as Research Associate in the Composite Materials Group at IMDEA Materials Institute (2018-2022). Subsequently, she held an Assistant Professor position at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in the Applied Mathematics, Materials Science Engineering, and Electronics Technology Department. Cristina has recently joined the Materials Science Institute of Madrid (ICMM-CSIC) as Ramón y Cajal Fellow. The study of the structure-processing-properties relationships in ceramics, polymers and composites has been the main research line along her career.
