My research is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach, combining basic science (nanoscience and surface physics) with vacuum technology to address complex problems with high social impact (astrochemistry, catalysis, biotechnology, instrumentation, chemical synthesis in two dimensions…).
Throughout my career, I have demonstrated how cooperation between different scientific fields can generate innovative solutions to complex problems, many of which are transferable to society.
