Hi everybody,
I am Federico Villalobos Romero from Granada, Spain. I studied there, at the University of Granada, UGR, a bachelor in Chemistry, enjoying an Erasmus year in Lublin, Poland. Also, I did my master’s in Education and Advanced Chemistry at the UGR.
Later, I was granted with a FPU for four years to study a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry between the UGR and the Institute of Materials Science of Madrid, ICMM.
The subject of my thesis is the synthesis and study of the properties and stability of graphenic nanostructures which include defects. A priori, these defects could be regarded as undesired, but behind them, there are lots of incredible properties!
