Hola! I am from Andhra Pradesh, a southern state in India. I received the JAE Intro grant from the Spanish National Research Council to work on an interdisciplinary research project at the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid. The main objective of my project is to understand the operating mechanisms during the performance of chemical photoreactions between molecular precursors on surfaces. The samples are mainly studied by In-situ Scanning Tunneling Microscopy, X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, Atomic force microscopy, and Low-energy electron diffraction to obtain a complete structural and chemical analysis of the system.
In August 2021, I received a B.Tech degree (with Honours) in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay, Mumbai, India. My bachelor’s thesis is titled «Low-Temperature Synthesis of SiOx thin films for flexible display applications», and Prof. Rajiv O. Dusane supervised it.
My primary research interest is in Nanomaterials, particularly in the fabrication and characterization of nanostructured systems.
Research Experience:
- May – July 2021: Internship at the Photonics, Nanostructures and Devices Lab in the National Chung Cheng University (Taiwan), supervised by Prof. Guo-En Chang
- Jun – July 2021: Research in the Material Synthesis Laboratory in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering (IIT Bombay), supervised by Prof. K. Bala Subramaniam
- Jan – May 2021: Research at the Semiconductor Thin Film and Plasma Processing Lab (in collaboration with Applied Materials) in IIT Bombay, supervised by Prof. Rajiv O. Dusane
- May – July 2019: Internship at the Advanced Steel Processing and Products Research Center in the Colorado School of Mines (USA), supervised by Prof. John Speer
