I am a Ph.D. candidate in Theoretical Condensed Matter and Quantum Computation under the supervision of Ramón Aguado and María José Calderón. I acquired both my bachelor’s degree in Physics and my master’s degree in Theoretical Physics at the Complutense University of Madrid. Furthermore, I have enjoyed a JAE Intro ICU scholarship at the Materials Science Institute of Madrid under the supervision of Ramón Aguado, getting initiated in the research of minimal Kitaev chains and Josephson junctions based on quantum dots. Currently, I am interested in the implementation of such novel hybrid platforms on the development of new superconducting qubits, which exploit the appearance of Majorana bound states with non-Abelian exchange statistics, allowing fault-tolerant quantum information processing.
