Following our series of papers on multilayer composite films, we have published a paper in the 31 August 2017 issue of Thin Solid Films on the role of the PbTiO3 layers to obtained a rather competitive piezoelectric coefficient when combined with a Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3 layer, with a significant recovery of the remanence loss that appears for single phase films of this composition.
