I am staff scientist of the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid (ICMM) , CSIC , since 2008.
I got my PhD. in Chemistry in 1993 at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) under the supervision of Dr. L. Carlos Otero Díaz.
Afterwards, I went as post-doc to Sweden, 3 years (1993-1996) at the Departament of Inorganic Chemistry 2, Chemical Center, University of Lund with Proff. Staffan Hansen; at the Departament of Inorganic Chemistry of the Universidad Computense de Madrid (UCM) as teaching assistant (1995-1996); at the Electron Microscopy Center of the UCM as «Titulado Superior» (1996-2003) and as Tenured Scientist (Contrato Ramón y Cajal) at the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid, ICMM-CSIC (2003-2008).
I have published more than 70 scientific papers in peered review journals and 3 book chapters in the field of Transmission Electron Microscopy, Inorganic Chemistry, Materials Science and Electron Crystallography.
