Improved BiFeO3-PbTiO3 films by Chemical Solution Deposition

The deposition of BiFeO3-PbTiO3 (BFO-PTO) films by Chemical Solution Deposition at 500°C results in a reduced conductivity for high room temperature switchable polarization. This work, which was carried out in the framework of the internship in our laboratories of L. Zia from Quaid-i-Azam University (Pakistan), provides a new path to fabricate high-quality BFO-PTO ferroelectric thin films.
